RE Leadership Development Network
The RE Leadership Development Network offers a series of 6 quality CPD sessions held online.These sessions set out to equip subject leaders with subject knowledge and ideas to enhance teaching across their school. All sessions run from 4 - 5.30pm via Teams. For schools that have subscribed to the Training+ package, these sessions are free. There is a charge of £60 (+VAT) for schools in the SLA. Schools not in the SLA are welcome, and the charge is £120 (+VAT). These prices are for all 6 sessions. Autumn 2025
Thursday 9th October - This session delivers a national update and a revision of the key current legal requirements about RE.
Tuesday 25th November - This session explores how RE Leads might upskill other staff about Diversity within as well as between religions.
Spring 2026
Wednesday 28th January - This session examines the new Statement of Entitlement for RE which will be published in January 2026.
Thursday 16th March - This session explores how teachers can make RE inclusive for those children with SEND.
Summer 2026
Tuesday 12th May - This session looks the impact of national and local changes in the RE world.
Thursday 25th June - This final session of the year looks ahead to the next academic year and curriculum refinement.
NEW for 2025-26
In addition to the RE Leadership Development Network, there is a termly Live Q&A session from 4 - 5pm, again online. These are free to schols in the SLA and £35+VAT to non-SLA schools.
